The preparations of the Annual Lüderitz Crayfish Festival 2023 started, with His Worship, the Mayor and Chairperson of the Lüderitz Crayfish Festival Trust Hon. Cllr. Benjamin Mckay; engaging local welders for the manufacturing and fabrication of the Annual Lüderitz Crayfish Festival Exhibition Stalls. His Worship stated that; there is a serious need for local economic empowerment through equal wealth re-distribution and that those selected to spearhead this project must guarantee that no one is left out whilst equally imploring for the persons forming a part of this project to deliver on their mandate and ensure workmanship of the best quality. The welders represented by Mr. Patrick Boer expressed thanks for the opportunity granted to showcase their skills and that this gesture will ensure that, they are able to keep food on their tables and their children off the streets.
