On a beautiful and sunny day with weather permitting for a great family outing at the Aeroplane Bay, the Lüderitz Concrete Sign was unveiled to much praise and fan fare by the First Citizen, the Mayor Hon. Cllr. Benjamin Mckay and Chairperson of the Lüderitz Town Council Management Committee Hon. Cllr. Phill Balhao whilst being broadcasted live by Kosmos FM. The Lüderitz Concrete Sign will boost the tourism profile of the town and region, with the aim of enticing both domestic and international tourists to the town. The stakeholders that partnered in the realization of this sign were accorded gratitude, whilst residents are encouraged to protect the town’s infrastructure against vandalism and in so doing ensuring future generations continue to enjoy the beauty.
