The incentivisation of students is geared at encouraging them to excel academically and in so doing instil a sense of self-worth and academic prowess in pursuit of their continued journey onward to the secondary and tertiary levels. The Lüderitz Mayoral Fund Trust chaired by His Worship, the Mayor Hon. Cllr. B. Mckay and supported by Trustees, resolved to support their three (3) Government Primary Schools, driven by the mantra that; the building of the foundation for strong minds starts at the primary school level. All the schools received funding to the tune of Two Thousand Namibian Dollars (N$ 2 000.00) in aid of the year-end functions planned by these schools, His Worship further extended invitations to the schools to engage Council continually as support is cemented for educational investments financially. (We take note of the error in the name of Fund Trust at the Nautilus Primary School hand-over and the Helene Van Rhjin Primary School, we extend apologies in this regard).
