The knowledge-driven economy requires various skill sets to compliment the ambitions of Namibia’s industrialization vision, this rings true with the anticipated launch of a full-scale satellite campus of the Namibia University of Science and Technology [NUST] within twelve to eighteen months from today, the campus is housed at the Old Power Station. The NUST Council is in town to view and appraise themselves with the construction status of the project and hosted both the First Servant His Worship, the Mayor Hon. Cllr. Phillippus A. Balhao and the !Nami #Nus Constituency Councilor Hon. Cllr. Suzan Ndjaleka at their current regional centre on the 01 February 2024. The campus will have a fully-fledged hotel school for aspirants hoteliers, and will offer face to face lectures that will replicate what transpires at it’s main campus in Windhoek. The campus will be offering qualifications in over forty academic disciplines from which aspiring students can choose from, in their pursuit of adding value to the socio-economic value chain and career path.
