This year\u2019s festival is being hosted under the theme \u201cThe Ocean, Our Legacy\u201d and during the pledging ceremony, the L\u00fcderitz Crayfish Festival Trust raised Four Hundred and Fifty-Four Thousand One Hundred Namibian Dollars (N$ 454 100) with pledges coming mostly from the fishing fraternity, the guests of honor used this opportunity and implored stakeholders to support the Festival to ensure longevity and the continued socio-economic contribution toward the town and by extension the nation. The attendees were offered a glimpse into the historic timeline of the Festival, with entertainment exclusively from the artists of L\u00fcderitz.
