The L\u00fcderitz Town Council [LTC], Namibian Ports Authority [NAMPORT], National Oil Company [NAMCOR] and SONANGOL Integrated Logistics Services [SONILS] have agreed to form a multilateral coalition for the establishment of an integrated logistics hub in L\u00fcderitz. SONILS is the logistics and supply chain management entity for the oil and gas industry in neighboring Angola, with over twenty-seven years of operations has partnered up with NAMCOR in a Technical capacity for the preparations of the land-based operations of the on-shore oil production. The meeting undertook to ensure synchronized planning across the partner institutions, as the push for the expansion of the L\u00fcderitz port and townlands limits are poised to enjoy priority; with a focus on knowledge transfer and job creation whilst considering ethical planning that will ensure dividends to the L\u00fcderitz community through Corporate Social Investments.<\/p>\n
