L\u00fcderitz was home to one such concentration camp, where eighty (80) per cent of those captured and lured to L\u00fcderitz met their demise. The Association of Nama Traditional Leaders, Ovaherero Traditional Authority and the Ovaherero Genocide Foundation, will host the Genocide Remembrance Day under the theme; \u201cLet the blood of our ancestors fuel our resolve for restorative justice\u201d from the 21<sup>st<\/sup> \u2013 23 April 2023 in L\u00fcderitz.
