This initiative was established in line with the Namibian Zero Hunger Strategy, aligned to the Sustainable Development Goals, that of; ending hunger, achieving food security and improving nutrition and the promotion of sustainable agriculture. The two Greenhouses were established under the Mayoral tenure of Hon. Cllr.
