The Swakopmund born professional soccer player Mr. Deon Hotto has looked beyond the mountains of his hometown of Swakopmund to establish the presence of the Deon Hotto Foundation in L\u00fcderitz. The Chairman of the Foundation Mr. Carl Pesat sat down with the First Servant, His Worship, the Mayor Hon. Cllr. Phillippus A. Balhao on the 02 February 2024 in L\u00fcderitz, with the aim of cementing a partnership that will address the lack of adequate soccer facilities and create a network for grassroots soccer academies.
