Namibia as a developing nation requires the transference of technology, skills and teaching aids used by the first world countries to bolster her industrialization ambitions. The L\u00fcderitz Town Council being guided by these goals; embarked upon a working visit to L\u00fcderitz, Germany during September 2023 to explore areas of cooperation including twining between schools. This exchange visit has resulted in the L\u00fcderitz Primary School in Germany identifying the L\u00fcderitz Blue School in Namibia as a partner school, with the intent of solidifying their partnership through cultural exchange programs amongst other initiatives. The L\u00fcderitz Primary School donated stationery and snacks to their local partner school, the Managing Director of the Nest Hotel Mr. Ulf Gr\u00fcnewald on behalf of the Germany based school, handed over the items on the 19 February 2024 to the First Servant, His Worship, the Mayor the Hon. Cllr. Phillippus A. Balhao, that in turn delivered the precious cargo accompanied by Council Member Hon. Cllr.
