The Minister of Mines and Energy Hon. Tom Alweendo [M.P.] in the company of technocrats from the ministry engaged Council on the 17 April 2024, with the aim of best understanding the strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats pertaining the desired expansion of town. The Minister was briefed on the vision of the Council and thereafter indicated that, \u2018we need to understand that, our development agenda won\u2019t work within the current framework and that we should reimagine the approach to our growth trajectory\u2019.
