This agreement will bring to the fore; the appointment of a Town Digitalization Expert in addition to the procurement of a first response fire vehicle (equipped bakkie) and fire fighting equipment. The collaboration framework further offers Technical and Vocational Training Support and a Student Exchange programme with the Benguela Community Skills and Development Centre, as part of the agreement. The Council during the same occasion, equally received a drone donation specifically built for aerial footage for incorporation into its GIS Platform.
