A growing town will produce more waste and the effective management thereof is key in sustainable urban development. The Lüderitz Town Council always to strives to ensure a conducive environment for enterprise development, as this has socio-economical spin-offs that contribute to the town’s fiscus, Council has welcomed Rent-A-Drum that set up shop in town. Rent-A-Drum was established in 1989 and has grown into Namibia’s leading waste management and recycling companies, operating branches in Windhoek, Swakopmund, Walvis Bay, Oshakati, Oranjemund, Rosh Pinah and now with the addition of Lüderitz.
