The impending festivities slated for the town will witness the Namibian Navy’s presence, in keeping true to tradition and honor, the Namibia Navy’s Commanders’ Maanda, Hitenanye and Talasi paid The First Servant His Worship, the Mayor Hon. Cllr. Phillippus A. Balhao a courtesy visit at the Council Chambers on the 28th April 2025. The Briefing included various matters of mutual interest, inclusive of seeking permission and blessings of The First Servant to undertake various operations within The First Servant’s jurisdiction. The Namibian Navy will be present in and around town as from the 29th April 2025 till early May 2025, further areas of cooperation were identified during the briefing in view of the impending development of the town.
