In efforts to strengthen the existing bonds between the two local authorities, with the vision to cooperate on various identified programs, the Lüderitz Town Council and the Tses Village Council entered into a 5 year Memorandum of Understanding [MOU] in Lüderitz on the 02 May 2025. Her Worship, the Deputy Mayor, Hon. Cllr. Josephine Heita and the Chairperson of the Tses Village Council Hon. Cllr. Julian J. Christiaan officiated at the signing ceremony, in attendance were Councilor’s and Management from both Councils. The MOU covers aspects ranging from Economic and Tourism Development, Town Planning and Housing Development, Community Development, Corporate Services, to mention but a few.
