The resumption of operations for the 2025/26 financial period was marked by the hosting of an Internal Legal Framework Induction Training for newly elected, sworn-in, and inaugurated Councilor’s. The training took place on 14 January 2026 at the Nest Hotel. The Acting Chief Executive Officer, Mr Otto K. Shipanga, supported by key staff from all departments and divisions, presented their respective portfolios to the political leadership. This exercise provided Councilor’s with valuable insight into the Council’s operational framework, including the roles and functions of its various departments and divisions
