Joyous celebrations were the order of the day, during the 2022 Elders Luncheon and Food Parcel Hand Over held today at the German Hostel. In attendance were more than 400 elders, that were treated to lunch and food parcels; His Worship, the Mayor during his Keynote Address indicated that; support for the elders must be sustained consistently as it is largely because of their efforts that we enjoy the fruits today. He further mooted the notion that, more events and activities should be held for the elders of the town, and not just a once-off annual event.
