The cardinal role of Sports in the pursuit of social cohesion can not be under played, as it is effective in cross-cultural integration and shared prosperity whilst according the youth and athletes an opportunity to showcase their skills and talents. WESCO Engineering Services (PTY) LTD are committed to the socio-economic advancement of Lüderitz and have demonstrated this, through funding and erecting the rugby poles at the Lüderitz Sports Stadium. His Worship, the Mayor Hon. Cllr. Benjamin Mckay in accepting this donation on behalf of the Council, expressed gratitude towards WESCO for joining Council in the restoring the Stadium and urged other stakeholder’s to follow the example set.
