The foggiest of mornings brings about a change in scenery at the Bucht, with clean air felt in the lungs and the sustenance of this reigns supreme on the agenda of the town’s leadership. The need for the management of the landfill site through innovative and cutting-edge waste management technologies has the Lüderitz Town Council partnering up with the Rent-A-Drum entity for the establishment of a Waste Recycling Facility in the town. The Council leadership, resolved to enter into a Memorandum of Understanding (subject to regulatory approval) with the recycling giant that will aim at transforming the solid waste management administration of the Town Council toward it’s stakeholders and create employment opportunities for the town’s inhabitants whilst changing the scenery and contribute towards a sustained clean and healthy town.
