The extension of support to the poor, needy and vulnerable society members remains a collective responsibility, requiring joint efforts from all community stakeholders in ensuring a dignified lifestyle, to guarantee that no one is left out from the Namibian House. The First Servant, His Worship, the Mayor Hon. Cllr. Phillippus A. Balhao lead the team from Council from the front as a total of approximately 350 kilograms fish mince was donated to all the soup kitchens in town on the 04 March 2024. These soups kitchens incorporated the Catholic Pre-School, the government operated Primary and Secondary Schools, the State-Run Hospital, the Correctional Facility and the Old Age Home in Nautilus.
