INTRACONTINENTAL INVESTOR COURTS COUNCIL

The recent reports of hydrocarbon figures of 10 billion or more barrels of oil reserves found off the coast of Lüderitz, has gathered much interest from those within the sector and worldwide. These discoveries could possibly project the country as a supergiant amongst the oil producing countries. One of the international firms, namely the Alistair Group; paid Council a working visit on the 24 June 2024 with the intention of investing within the town, through sharing their intended modes operandi to Council. The Alistair Group has been providing logistics services to the Oil & Gas sector in South and East Africa since inception in 2008. They have grown to become the logistics provider of choice for many blue-chip companies in the region, they provide an integrated logistics service and are conversant and compliant with the standards and methodologies required by the oil and gas industry. The First Servant, His Worship, the Mayor Hon. Cllr. Phillippus Balhao together with the Administration team hosted the team from the Alistair Group at the Council Chambers.
